Session Title Seafood! More Than Just a Summer Catch
Session Description As Alaskans, we think we know seafood. Fishing is a favorite pastime and the seafood industry is the largest private sector employer in Alaska, but do you know just how important it is to eat a healthy and sustainable diet year round? Join us to learn more about the new seafood recommendations in the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines and talk with a local RD about incorporating seafood into active Alaska lifestyles. Find out more from an Alaska harvester about the Alaska industry that conveniently brings this world-class protein to market. We will also enjoy a creative family cooking demo featuring a local fisherman and RD. When adding seafood to your family meals, everyone can benefit from the nutrition it provides. Join us as we 'catch' up on all things seafood!
