Assistant Manager for the State of Alaska’s Family Nutrition Programs – telecommute from home

This position provides direct support to the Family Nutrition Programs Manager, acting as an assistant manager for six federal food and nutrition services programs: the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants & Children (WIC), SNAP-Ed, Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program and Commodity Supplemental Food Program. This position provides direct supervision to administrative and professional staff, coordinates the state nutrition plan with partner agencies, and manages annual onsite evaluations of local agency WIC clinics.

This position offers the capacity to work from your home within Alaska or in an office setting in your local district office or a hybrid of both work settings if you prefer.
